Summary: BabyTracker stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. Your baby's data never leaves your device except through Apple's iCloud sync, which you control.
Data We Collect
BabyTracker does not collect any personal data. All information you enter into the app — including baby names, birth dates, feeding logs, sleep records, diaper changes, growth measurements, temperature readings, medication doses, vaccine records, activity logs, milestones, and reminders — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, BabyTracker may sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit. This sync is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable iCloud sync for BabyTracker in your device's Settings.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to: your baby's personal information, your name or contact details, analytics or usage data, location data, device identifiers, or photos you add as baby profile pictures.
Third-Party Services
BabyTracker does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for optional data synchronization.
Photos
BabyTracker allows you to add a profile photo for your baby from your photo library. These photos are stored locally on your device and are only used within the app to display your baby's profile. Photos are not uploaded to any server.
Notifications
BabyTracker uses local notifications (not push notifications from a server) to remind you about feedings, medications, and other baby care tasks. These notifications are scheduled and processed entirely on your device.
Data Export
You can export your data as a JSON file using the app's export feature in Settings. This file is generated locally and shared through iOS's share sheet. We have no access to exported files.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data within the app. You can also delete the app, which removes all locally stored data. To remove iCloud-synced data, disable iCloud sync before deleting.
Children's Privacy
BabyTracker is designed to help parents track their baby's care. The app does not collect information from children. All data is entered and managed by the parent or caregiver. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain objectionable content.
Health Information Disclaimer
BabyTracker is a personal tracking and logging tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The feeding guide is based on general guidelines from the AAP and WHO. Always consult your pediatrician for personalized advice.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
