TL;DR: Stikr does not have a server. We do not collect, see, store, share, sell or analyze any of your data. The only network is Apple's iCloud, fully managed by Apple under your iCloud account. The camera is used only for on-device scanning and images never leave your device.
1. Who we are
Stikr is an independent iOS app published by Franyer Verjel ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how the app handles information. By using Stikr, you agree to this policy.
2. What we collect
Nothing. Stikr does not collect personal data of any kind. Everything you enter into the app lives only on your device and, optionally, in your private iCloud container. The information the app stores locally includes: an optional display name (you choose whether to enter it), which stickers you have marked as owned and how many copies of each, and app preferences (haptics, sort order, etc.).
3. iCloud sync
If you are signed into iCloud on your Apple device and iCloud Drive is enabled, Stikr syncs the data above between your devices using Apple's CloudKit private database. This sync is end-to-end managed by Apple under your Apple ID. We have no servers and no way to access your CloudKit data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Stikr.
4. Camera and on-device text recognition
Stikr offers an optional sticker scanner that uses your camera together with Apple's VisionKit / Vision frameworks to recognize sticker codes (for example, ARG3) printed on physical stickers. The camera is only active while the scanner screen is open. Text recognition runs entirely on your device — no images, no video and no recognized text are uploaded anywhere. We never store the camera frames; only the resulting record ("you own ARG3") is saved to your local SwiftData store and synced via iCloud if you have it enabled.
5. Pasteboard and import
The Import feature reads from your clipboard only at the exact moment you tap "Paste from clipboard" inside the Import screen. The clipboard content is processed on-device and is not stored anywhere outside your collection records.
6. Sharing
When you share your duplicates or missing list, the text is composed locally and passed to the standard iOS share sheet (WhatsApp, Messages, etc.). We do not see or store the shared content.
7. What we do not use
No analytics SDKs or telemetry of any kind. No advertising, no ad networks, no advertising identifiers. No third-party tracking, no fingerprinting. No location services. No accounts, no login, no email collection. No push notifications from a server.
8. Children's privacy
Stikr is rated 4+ and does not contain objectionable content. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
9. Data deletion
You can erase your collection at any time from Settings › Reset my collection inside the app. Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud-synced data, you can also delete Stikr's iCloud data from Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage › Stikr on any of your devices.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app on the next update.
