Summary: FinFlow stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. Your financial data never leaves your device except through Apple's iCloud sync, which you control.
1. Data We Collect
FinFlow does not collect any personal data. All information you enter into the app — including your name, accounts, transactions, bills, budgets, and savings goals — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
2. iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, FinFlow may sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit. This sync is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable iCloud sync for FinFlow in your device's Settings.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to: your financial data, your name or personal information, analytics or usage data, location data, device identifiers, or photos from receipt scanning.
4. Third-Party Services
FinFlow does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app does not contain ads. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for optional data synchronization.
5. Receipt Scanning
The receipt scanning feature uses Apple's Vision framework to process images entirely on your device. Photos are not uploaded to any server. Scanned data is only used to pre-fill transaction details within the app.
6. Notifications
FinFlow uses local notifications (not push notifications from a server) to remind you about upcoming bills and daily transaction logging. These notifications are scheduled and processed entirely on your device.
7. Data Export
You can export your data as CSV or PDF files using the app's Import & Export feature. These files are generated locally and shared through iOS's share sheet. We have no access to exported files.
8. Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data within the app. You can also delete the app, which removes all locally stored data. To remove iCloud-synced data, disable iCloud sync before deleting.
9. Children's Privacy
FinFlow does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and does not contain objectionable content.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
